CAFE is a growing, friendly and inclusive flute ensemble based in Whitchurch, Cardiff. We welcome players from a wide range of backgrounds and experience levels, and no audition is required to join. Many of our members have not taken formal musical qualifications, although being around Grade 5 standard will help you feel comfortable with our repertoire.
Our focus is on making music, learning together and having fun, rather than formal performance. Even so, we run regular workshops, open rehearsals and concerts, giving members the chance to share music in a relaxed and supportive environment.
We enjoy playing a wide variety of repertoire, covering multiple musical styles and a range of technical levels, so there’s always something new to explore.
